Prop and Movie Memorabilia Auction at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood

Did you ever wonder what happens to all of the props, costumes and set decorations after filmmakers finish a movie? Some props end up in museums, but most of them go back to prop houses to be re-used in other films or sold to the general public. This weekend, Premiere Props and Super Auctions will host the world's largest Prop and Movie Memorabilia Auction featuring over 1000 props used in Miramax films. Items on the auction bloc include a period dress from Shakespeare in Love, a football helmet from The Longest Yard and a replica 1909 Mercedes from Shanghai Knights. In addition to the props and movie memorabilia, the auction will include movie-themed pinball machines and retro arcade games like Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man. Proceeds from Miramax memorabilia will go to charity through the Entertainment Industry Foundation.
