A Great Time to Visit the Griffith Observatory

The newly remodeled Griffith Observatory re-opened in November 2006. Due to initial demand, you have to park at a remote parking lot and take a shuttle up to the Observatory. However, the crowds have thinned enough that reservations are pretty easy to come by. Clear winter days and nights are perfect for getting the best view of the sky and the city.
