LA is an international city and its many cultures are regularly celebrated in festivals around the Southland. This weekend, in addition to the Lotus Festival, celebrating Asian and Pacific Island cultures, you can join in Greek or French festivities.
Bastille Day Celebration in Santa Monica
A celebration of all things French including singers, comedians, artists, market vendors, sidewalk cafes, a children's village a Provencal Petanque Tournament and a Parisian Waiter's Race.
When: Sunday, July 15, 2007, 2 pm - midnight
Where: Bergamot Station, Olympic Blvd. and Cloverfield in Santa Monica, CA
Cost: $5, free for children
Parking: Free street parking, pay structure across Olympic at The Water Garden

Southbay Greek Festival
Three-day church festival with Greek food, crafts, music and dancing.
When: July 13-15, Fri 5-10 pm, Sat 12-10 pm, Sun 12-9 pm
Where: 722 Knob Hill, Redondo Beach, CA 90277
Cost: $2, Free for kids under 12, $1 seniors, Free with coupon on website.
Parking: Free street parking and free parking at park lots across the street.
