The Party is in Long Beach this Labor Day Weekend

Long Beach seems to be party central on Labor Day weekend. As a precursor to the Blues Festival at Rainbow Lagoon, the Downtown Long Beach Associates have organized the Passport to the Blues, on Thursday, August 28, 2008 with a full night of blues at 25 downtown venues from 5 pm to 1 am. There's also the Long Beach Greek Festival, an Art Deco Festival on the Queen Mary, and a Hula Festival at the Terrace Theater and the Aquarium of the Pacific.
