It's Grinchmas at Universal Studios

Tuesday December 2, 2008
Grinchmas at UniversalWhile Santa may have taken over most shopping malls and theme parks around southern California, it's the Grinch who is taking over Universal Studios Hollywood, accompanied by all his Who-ville friends. The Grinchmas Winter Wonderland includes blankets of real snow, refreshed daily, nightly lighting of the twisted Grinchmas Tree and performances by the Whoville Whos. The Studio tour will also visit the original sets from the movie Dr Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas where characters will reenact memorable moments.

The “Grinchmas” celebration will take place on weekends beginning Saturday, December 6, and daily from December 22-31 and is included in the price of admission.

Universal Studios will be open on Christmas day this year.

Tourists get 2 days for the price of one ($67); Southern California residents get $18 off general admission, or $20-$30 off annual passes now at www.universalstudioshollywood.com.

Get a 7-day unlimited ticket for $69 from www.CalActive.com
