Summer Solstice in the Southland

Although our longest day of the year in Los Angeles is a lot shorter than points north, we still know how to celebrate the season. From an astronomical presentation at the Griffith Observatory to a giant sidewalk sale with music, or a more traditional American Indian celebration, there are plenty of solstice festivities to choose from.
