Feast of San Gennaro Italian Festival in Los Angeles
Get ready for the annual Feast of San Gennaro Italian festival in Los Angeles. The event takes place in Hollywood at the corner of Highland and Hawthorne. Although not as big as the New York San Gennaro festival, the LA organizers do a great job, making this one of my favorite annual events. Of course, I admit that could have something to do with my Italian roots.
There will be lots of fun Italian music, from folk to pop to opera as well as dancing, bocce, rides and games and of course Italian food. For the best celebrity sighting, invest $50-$100 in a ticket to the Prima Notte Gala. The dress code ranges from jeans to cocktail attire.
Check my Feast of San Gennaro Guide for the full schedule.
The location has easy access for parking at the Hollywood & Highland Center or better yet, take the Metro so you can enjoy the vino Italiano.
