Labor Day was created as a celebration of the working class. You won't see a lot of festivities around the Southland on the last long weekend of summer focusing on labor, although local actors will participate in their annual march. But every time I think about going away for Labor Day weekend, I look at my list of Labor Day Weekend Events in LA and I just can't bring myself to leave. There's just too much fun stuff going on right here in Southern California. So if you're not here already, you might want to make plans for a last minute road trip to Tinseltown.
For food and wine lovers, we have The Taste, a grand food and wine event in Hollywood. If you want to combine your food with a little ethnic culture, the Orange International Street Fair and Long Beach Greek Festival will transport you with food, music and dance. For your gourmet deep-fried Oreos and chocolate-covered bacon fix, head over to the LA County Fair.
History buffs can celebrate California history at the Los Angeles Birthday Celebration, vintage movies, including screening of a "lost" 1914 Charlie Chaplin cameo film, at the Cinecon Classic Film Festival or dress to impress at the Art Deco Festival on the Queen Mary.

This is my first time visiting your site and I really like how detailed it is; you supply a handful of information upfront that is readily assessible and provide details so that your reader knows exactly what each event offers. I have never been to the Long Beach Greek Festival that is coming up, but if you’re looking for a fun atmosphere for the entire family, I highly recommend going. Every greek festival I have ever attended has been a fun, social environment with delicious food and upbeat music. It’s fun for all ages, kids included. Thanks again!
Don’t forget about Fiesta Hermosa in Hermosa Beach! Saturday-Monday. Arts, crafts, food vendors, and beer+wine garden.
Does your site have a contact page? I’m having problems locating it but, I’d
like to send you an email. I’ve got some recommendations for your blog you might be interested in hearing. Either way, great site and I look forward to seeing it improve over time.
