Veterans Honored at LA Area Attractions

Active Military always get in free to the Reagan Library and Museum in Simi Valley, and US military veterans with ID will also get in free to the museum November 11 and 12, 2013.  Everyone can join in the free Veterans Celebration on on Monday, Nov 12. More Details.

The Nixon Library in Yorba Linda will also be holding Veterans Day Celebration on Sunday, Nov 11, 1-3 pm, which is free to the public. More Details.

The Port of Los Angeles and the USS Iowa, will host a Veterans Appreciation Festival on Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 1-4 pm. The event is free to the public. The USS Iowa will also offer free admission to veteran and their families. More Details

Active duty and retired Marines are invited to join in the Marine Corp Birthday celebration at the LA Fire Dept Museum on Saturday, Nov 10, 2012. More Details

Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach is offering free admission on Veterans Day, Sunday, Nov 11, 2012 for veterans, active military personnel, police officers, and firefighters with service ID.  More Details

The Long Way Home - Reflections on the Tracers Journey by John DiFusco is a personal look back at the conception, creation, and theatrical journey of the landmark Vietnam play "Tracers," paying homage to those who serve. It runs at 8 pm Fridays and Saturdays through November 24, 2012. Tickets are $22.50 general admission, $14 students and seniors, FREE for veterans. More Details
