Universal Studios Hollywood finally announced dates for their annual Grinchmas celebration. While Santa takes over most shopping malls and theme parks around southern California, it's the Grinch who takes over Universal Studios Hollywood, accompanied by all his Who-ville friends. The Grinchmas Winter Wonderland includes blankets of real snow, refreshed daily, nightly lighting of the twisted Grinchmas Tree with a sing-along and reading of Dr. Seuss' The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (view video), visits with Cindy Lou Who and Max the Dog as well as the Grinch himself, and performances by the Whoville Whos. The Studio tour will also visit the original sets from the movie Dr Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas where characters will reenact memorable moments.
The Grinch will rule Universal Studios December 8-9, and 15-31, 2012. Locals and frequent visitors may be interested in the current Buy a Day, Get a Year ticket promotion or get 2 Days for a Discounted 1-Day Price.
Universal Studios will be open on Christmas day.
