Hanukkah is from December 8-15 for 2012. Festivities start today, Sunday, December 2, 2012, with the Americana-themes Hanukkah celebration at the Skirball Cultural Center in Brentwood. You don't have to be Jewish to enjoy the festivities; many include crafts, games and activities for the whole family, not to mention holiday treats. Most LA events are just one day or evening, but the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica will have menorah lighting ceremonies for all 8 days, starting December 8. For details on these and other events check out my list of Hanukkah Celebrations Around LA.
