Once again, the Los Angeles area will host not one, but two major travel expos this winter.
Unicomm, in partnership with Los Angeles Magazine and NBCLA, is bringing the Los Angeles Travel and Adventure Show back to Long Beach. The event will feature over 450 exhibitors from around the world and a full schedule of lectures by prominent travel experts including Rick Steves, Jean-Michel Cousteau, Chris Harrison, Peter Greenberg, Pauline Frommer, and more. The Los Angeles Times Travel Show is moving from January to February 23-24, 2013 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, with an additional travel industry day on February 22. The format for the event will include areas designated specifically for family travel, with kids' activities; extreme adventure; and luxury and leisure travel, as well as a culinary stage showcasing regional specialties. A whole line-up of travel celebrities including Andrew McCarthy, Phil Keoghan, Rick Steves and Arthur Frommer are on the roster here too.
