Car Culture is an integral part of Los Angeles, so it's no wonder we have an abundance of auto-themed events. This month is the Grand National Roadster Show at the Fairplex in Pomona. Over 500 competition show cars will be on display inside the buildings and across the fairgrounds. This year's theme is "Aloha," and the featured exhibit in Building 9 is a showcase of surf vehicles called "Woodies, Wagons & The Spirit of Aloha."
Friday is the lightest day if you want to avoid the crowds. Saturday and Sunday 400-800 additional hot rods and classic cars show up and park between the buildings as part of the Annual Grand Daddy Drive-In. Sunday afternoon at 4 pm, awards will be given for the 2013 America's Most Beautiful Roadster and America's Most Beautiful Motorcycle, among others.
The Grand National Roadster Show also includes live music in Building 10 and on an outdoor stage. Food is available for purchase.
