We've already celebrated photography this month with Photo LA , so now it's time to focus on fine and contemporary art with two more art expos.
For fine art fans, the Los Angeles Art Fair takes place January 24-27, 2013 at the LA Convention Center. An exclusive group of invited galleries will showcase their prize classics and traditional paintings, sculptures and photographs. Lectures and discussions on art appreciation and collecting round out the event.
Art Los Angeles Contemporary is Jan 27-30, 2013 at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica. Over 70 galleries from Los Angeles and around the world will be represented. In addition to the exhibits and installations, there will be lectures, panel discussions, and performances. For 2013, Art Los Angeles Contemporary is partnering with Ceci n'est pas... Art Between France and Los Angeles, to include multiple components focusing on arts and culture exchange between France and Los Angeles.
