Celebrate Chinese and Vietnamese New Year Around LA

The Lunar New Year is almost upon us and there are a variety of opportunities to celebrate the Year of the Snake around Los Angeles and Orange Counties. The 2013 Lunar New Year dawns February 10, but celebrations begin as early as February 2nd. You can celebrate Chinese New Year in Monterey Park, the Golden Dragon Parade in Chinatown and the Vietnamese Tet Festival in Garden Grove, as well as events at Disneyland and the Bowers Museum.
