It's whale watching season in Southern California. This year we're seeing record numbers of gray whales heading north from Baja with their young, as well as large pods of dolphins off the coast.
Whale watching tours leave from Redondo Beach, Marina Del Rey, San Pedro, Long Beach and Newport Beach. You can also book a whale watching cruise with a marina biologist through the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach.
Long Beach or Newport Beach Whale Watching cruises are also included in the Go Los Angeles Card.
