Universal Studios Hollywood has announced details for their annual Grinchmas celebration which is a departure from the last few years. Grinchmas is getting a makeover this year with the famous curvy tree moved to the new Universal Plaza at the center of the park, where Whos will be caroling and posing for photos with visitors. They've eliminated of the evening storytelling and tree lighting, which was my favorite part of the event, but Who-ville Whos will still be performing on the Who-ville set from the movie Dr Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas on the Tram Tour.
The Grinch will rule Universal Studios weekends from Thanksgiving, November 28 to December 15, then daily through December 31, 2013. Locals and frequent visitors may be interested in the current Buy a Day, Get a Year ticket promotion or get Discounted 1--day or 2 Day Tickets from Kijubi.
Universal Studios will be open on Christmas day.
