Make Plans for Two Travel Shows Coming to LA

Once again, the Los Angeles area will host not one, but two major travel expos this winter. So if you're trying to figure out what your next travel destination should be, or find a great resort or tour operator, LA is the place to be in January and February.

Travel ShowThe Los Angeles Times Travel Show is coming up first January 18-19, 2014 at theLA Times Travel Show Los Angeles Convention Center, with an additional travel industry day on January 17. The format for the event will include areas designated specifically for family travel, with kids' activities; extreme adventure; and luxury and leisure travel, as well as a culinary stage showcasing regional specialties. A whole line-up of travel celebrities including Henry Rollins, Alyssa Milano, Adam Richman and Arthur Frommer are on the roster, as well as dozens of travel editors, writers and bloggers. Tickets are $10 and are on sale now at www.latimes.com/travelshow.

LA Travel and Adventure Show

The Los Angeles Travel and Adventure Show will be back in Long LA Travel and Adventure ShowBeach. The event will feature over 450 exhibitors from around the world and a full schedule of lectures by prominent travel experts including Rick Steves, Samantha Brown, Peter Greenberg, Pauline Frommer, Don Wildman, and more.
