The Big Irish Fair & Music Fest is billed as the largest Irish Fair in the Western United States, this festival of Celtic culture moved from Orange County to Long Beach a couple years ago and will be back at El Dorado Park this year, once again on Father's Day Weekend.
The event features multiple entertainment stages with regional Irish dance competitions and a variety of traditional and contemporary Irish music styles. Last year's music line-up included the Fenians, Young Dubliners, the Humble Hooligans, the Dublin 4 and the Dennis McNeil Irish Tenor, Irish dance, harp and fiddle competitions, and more. This year's bands have yet to be announced. There is a re-enactment village of Royal Tara, as well as sheep herding demonstrations and rides for the kids. There are also Catholic and Non-Denominational Protestant church services that will take place at the park 10 am Sunday morning.

Cost: Adults $15 advance, $20 on fair days, Seniors (62+) and students $14 advance, $16 at the gate, Children 12 and under, free. $3 Off with coupon on the website. (2016 prices to be confirmed)
