The venues included in the category Favorite Large Live Music Venue ranged in size from medium to massive, so it's not too surprising that a smaller venue with stellar sound won out over some of it's more famous competitors. The Levitt Pavilion in Pasadena takes the honors in this category. An outdoor band shell in the park that offers primarily free summer music, this concert venue has one of the best sound systems around. I would have to agree with you Levitt fans that as much as I love the Hollywood Bowl, I prefer the more intimate Levitt listening experience.
