Best Los Angeles Restaurant Winners 2012 Readers' Choice Awards

The Los Angeles Travel Readers' Choice Awards for Best Los Angeles Chefs and Restaurants were heated at times. Readers had a month to submit nominations for their favorite Los Angeles chefs and restaurants and another month to vote for the finalists in the 2012 Los Angeles Travel Readers' Choice Awards. The following pages present the winners and finalists in the chef and restaurant categories.

Keep in mind that since most people have not had the opportunity to eat at all the restaurants in a category. So while more votes does indicate popularity and validates that a restaurant is beloved by more voting fans, it is not necessarily a taste test between the five nominees. When it comes to food, we can be poly-amorous.
