General

The first place to check for discounted attractions is the local CVB website. LA Inc, the Anaheim CVB and the Long Beach CVB web sites all offer special offers from their members. The AAA also offers many discounts for members traveling to L.A., including discounts on major attractions.

Attractions

These major attractions often offer discount coupons or packages directly from their websites. Some museums also offer dollars-off coupons on their websites. You can also check out this list of Museum Free Days.

Theatre

Goldstar Events offers discounted tickets to many theatre productions in Southern California as well as sporting events, musical events, spectacles, spa discounts and more. Most tickets are half price. Some are free.

LA Stage Tix offers advance half-price theatre tickets online for L.A. area theatres.

Centre Theatre Group offers a limited number of $20 Hot Tix to each of their productions at the Ahmanson Theatre and Mark Taper Forum at the Music Center or the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City.

Discount Cards and Packages

For additional savings, the following companies offer dining, entertainment and attraction discount packages, cards and coupon books.

CityPass offers the Southern California CityPass for discounts on a combination of major theme parks and the Hollywood Walk of Fame CityPass for a combination of Hollywood museums and tours.

Cozmo Card offers dining discounts on trendy restaurants using a discount card or “deck” of discount card coupons.

The Entertainment Book offers discount card and coupon discounts at fine dining and fast food restaurants, attractions, tours, cruises, hotels, rental cars, groceries and more.

The Go Los Angeles Card is a flat rate card based on number of days used, which offers free entry into over 30 attractions including museums, tours and venues not included in other cards or packages.
