New Orleans Square

New Orleans Square at Disneyland, CA

New Orleans Square was added to Disneyland in 1966 as a recreation of 19th century New Orleans. This area has not been recreated in any of the other disney theme parks, although some of the individual rides have been included in other areas. Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion are the big attractions in this area, but the relaxed New Orleans dining to live jazz music at a variety of sidewalk restaurants also has great appeal.
