Critter Country has been through several previous incarnations, originally part of Frontierland, then Indian Country, followed by Bear Coutnry. It was renamed Critter Country when Splash Mountain was added in 1988 featuring Brer Rabbit and his friends from the 1946 Disney classic, Song of the South, singing "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah", . This is the smallest of the "lands."
