2. Cinco de Mayo at Olvera Street

A traditional celebration with mariachis, folklorico dancers, piñatas and other activities for the kids at El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historic Site on Olvera Street in Downtown Los Angeles.

3. Grande Cinco De Mayo Block Party in West Hollywood
The City of West Hollywood and Tortilla Republic are co-sponsoring the Grande Cinco De Mayo Block Party in West Hollywood on Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. The open air parking lot behind Tortilla Republic at 616 Robertson Boulevard (located on El Tovar Place) will be transformed into an outdoor Grande Cinco de Mayo celebration featuring food and live entertainment to celebrate Mexican heritage and culture. The largest Mexican-American community in Orange County celebrates with two-days of festivities including carnival rides, games, music, dance and lots of food on historic 4th Street in downtown Santa Ana.

5. Museum of Latin American Art Cinco de Mayo Festival
The Museum of Latin American Art is celebrating Cinco de Mayo on May 4 with a ticketed craft beer tasting event with live mariachi music. Sunday is Cinco de Mayo Family Festival on Target Free Sunday with art workshops, live music and dancing, and museum tours.

8. Lucha VaVoom at the Mayan Theater
A crazy Mexican combination of acrobatic masked wrestlers, burlesque, striptease and comedy. The touring show is stopping in Los Angeles for just one night on Cinco de Mayo.

9. Cinco de Mayo at L.A. Live
L.A. Live's Cinco de Mayo celebration has been toned down this year with the mariachis moving indoors to the Mixing Room at the JW Marriott. The party on Sunday is also going on at Rosa Mexicano.
