LAX FlyAway buses provide point to point shuttle service on buses designed to carry passengers with luggage between Los Angeles International Airport and three Los Angeles locations for a fixed fee.
Union Station FlyAway ServiceFor visitors to Downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood or Pasadena, the Union Station FlyAway will get you to Union Station in downtown Los Angeles. From there you can catch the Metro Red Line to Hollywood (15 minutes) or Universal Studios, Metro Gold Line to Pasadena or catch a quick cab to Downtown hotels. (You can also connect via the Metro Red Line to the Metro Blue Line to Long Beach, but taking the Metro from the Airport station is more direct, if not actually faster.) The Union Station FlyAway runs every 30 minutes and takes about 45 minutes point to point. At LAX, passengers board buses on the Lower/Arrivals Level in front of each terminal under the green "FlyAway, Buses and Long Distance Vans" signs. Each bus is marked with its service location. Returning to LAX, passengers are dropped at each departure terminal. At Union Station, the FlyAway bus stop is on the Bus Plaza off of Vignes, at the back of the terminal. More on Riding the Metro.
Van Nuys FlyAway ServiceThe Van Nuys FlyAway provides service between the Van Nuys Airport and LAX. It picks up in the same location at LAX as the Union Station FlyAway. At the Van Nuys Airport, the FlyAway Terminal is between the Long and Short Term parking lots, 7610 Woodley Avenue, Van Nuys. FlyAway Service to Van Nuys runs 24 hours, with buses scheduled every 15 minutes to 1 hour, depending on time of day. Check the website for the exact schedule. The trip takes 35 to 60 minutes point to point depending on traffic.
Westwood/UCLA FlyAway ServiceFlyAway service is provided between LAX and UCLA Parking Structure 32 on the north side of Kinross Avenue, one block west of Gayley Avenue in Westwood. There is no overnight parking at this location during the week.
Irvine FlyAway ServiceThe LAX FlyAway operates from Bus Bay 1 at Irvine Station located at 15215 Barranca Parkway, Irvine, CA 92618. Bus station is located near where Interstate 5 and Interstate 405 meet in Irvine. Enter Irvine Station in Google for precise directions. This service only runs a few times a day, and it's a much higher fee for the 60 minute+ trip to or from LAX.
