The Babylon courtyard at Hollywood & Highland Center was based on the ancient Babylon set from D.W. Griffith's 1916 epic "Intolerance." The columns topped with standing elephants and the archway over the viewing bridges are modeled after the film set. In addition to shops and restaurants, Hollywood & Highland is home to the Kodak Theatre, home of the "Oscars," and is connected to the upstairs cinema entrance at the back of Grauman's Chinese Theatre.
