Easter Sunrise Service at the Hollywood Bowl
Non-denominational Easter service with multi-denominational clergy and a 240 voice choir, 250 children in the Living Cross and Children's Choirs in nature's cathedral, decorated with thousands of Easter Lilies and ending with the mass release of the White Birds of Peace.When: Easter Sunday, 5:30 to 7 am, gates open at 3:30 am

Bunny's Spring Fling at the LA Zoo & Botanical Gardens

Blessing of the Animals at Olvera Street
The Merchants of Olvera Street and a cow decorated with flowers lead a procession of gaily decorated animals past a riest delivering the blessing. The procession with Cardinal Roger Mahoney begins at 2 pm. Animals and their owners assemble on the north side of the Plaza.When: Saturday before Easter, noon to 5 pm

500 pooches in bunny ears and bonnets will parade along the sidewalks of Belmont Shore in Long Beach on Easter Sunday. Pet fair will continue at Livingston Park.
