The Queen Mary Dark Harbor Halloween Terror Fest - Long Beach
The venerable ocean liner is transformed with spooky mazes, some on the ship, others on land, plus all-age dance parties and live band performances.

Wicket Lit isn't exactly a haunted attraction or a tour, but contains elements of both. It's a theatrical production at Mountain View Mausoleum and Cemetery where audience members experience three different horror tales in different parts of the cemetery. The plays for this year are Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s The New Catacomb, Washington Irving’s The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, H.P. Lovecraft’s The Lurking Fear and The Masque of the Red Death Experience, created by Paul Millet, based on the story by Edgar Allan Poe. Wicked Lit is a walking production, which includes stairs.

Blumhouse's The Purge: Fear the Night
From the makers of the Paranormal Activity movies, Sinister, Insidious and The Purge comes the Downtown LA immersive horror theatre experience, The Purge: Fear the Night. Creators are using the latest in horror film storytelling and set design including sights, sounds and smells to take visitors into the back-story of the movie within the haunted 89-year-old Variety Arts Theater. Individual experiences can take 90 minutes to 2 1/2 hours.

The Alone Experience - Downtown LA
An atypical haunted house experience with no scare characters or gore, just 30 minutes navigating a dark old haunted Odd Fellows Temple solo with just a flashlight and no none to cling to.

This event in the San Fernando Valley includes daytime pumpkin carving and activities for kids with multiple nighttime scare mazes including the area's only true corn maze haunt.

Los Angeles Haunted Hayride at the Old Zoo at Griffith Park
The Haunted Hayride will take you on a bumpy night ride through the abandoned cages and habitats of the Old Zoo in the woods at Griffith Park, populated with all kinds of scare creatures. There is also a hay maze. The Hayride is not recommended for children under 8, pregnant women, or people with seizures, heart, back or anxiety issues.

The House at Haunted Hill
A high-tech Halloween show in and around a private home, powered by TV, Film and Theatre industry professionals. The show revolves around a Hollywood Starlet from 1939 and her ill-fated wedding to a Hollywood Screenwriter. The show lasts 12 minutes and repeats every 15 minutes and is viewed from the street, which the city closes to traffic due to the number of visitors. Script by Emmy Nominated Writer, Ed Valentine; Score by an Emmy Nominated Composer, Chris Hoag; Narration by Corey Burton, one of TV/Films biggest voice over artists; Lighting/SFX by Emmy Winning Lighting Designer, Matt Ford. The show is a "ghost show", which is completely family friendly with no blood, no gore, no chain saws and no one jumping out at visitors.
