4th of July AmericaFest at the Rose Bowl
One of the largest fireworks displays in Southern California with music and food vendors in the nearby Arroyo.
When: July 4th, parking lot opens at 10 am, food court opens at 2 pm; stadium opens at 6:30 pm, Opening ceremonies begin at 7, Program 7:25, Fireworks at 9:05 pm.

Palisades Americanism Parade
Old fashioned Independence Day Parade followed by entertainment and a fireworks display.
When: July 4th, Skydivers 1:50 pm, 2:00 parade, 6:30 pm entertainment, 9 pm fireworks
Where: Parade on Sunset Blvd. in Pacific Palisades between via de la Paz and Drummond St., Entertainment and fireworks at Palisades Charter High School.

July 4th Fireworks at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum
This free 60 minute fireworks show launched from near the LA Memorial Coliseum is not actually in the Coliseum, but can be viewed from areas around Exposition Park including from Christmas Tree Lane or from the south lawn. Bring blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the show.

Long Beach Kids' July 4th Bike Parade
Children and adults are encouraged to decorate their bikes and themselves for this annual patriotic procession on wheels that takes place on the beach bike path in Long Beach. In addition to the bike parade, the event will include competitions for children 12 and younger, including a Patriotic Oratory Competition (advance submission required), watermelon seed spitting, and patriotic costume contest.
