There are dozens of festivals and celebrations for the 4th of July around Los Angeles and Orange County. 4th of July AmericaFest at the Rose Bowl
One of the largest fireworks displays in Southern California with music and food vendors in the nearby Arroyo.
When: July 4th, parking lot opens at 10 am, food court opens at 2 pm; stadium opens at 6:30 pm, Opening ceremonies begin at 7, Program 7:25, Fireworks at 9:05 pm.
Where: The Rose Bowl Stadium, Pasadena
Cost: $13 GA,$25 reserved, Kids 5 and under free in GA section. Children require a ticket in Reserved seating. Active Military with ID Free (up to 4 tickets per family), Veterans get 1 free ticket, available from the ticket booth near Gate B, doesn't include parking. Advance tickets on sale in May through www.ticketmaster.com. Box office a week before and cash only at the stadium.

Palisades Americanism Parade
Old fashioned Independence Day Parade followed by entertainment and a fireworks display.
When: July 4th, Skydivers 1:50 pm, 2:00 parade, 6:30 pm entertainment, 9 pm fireworks
Where: Parade on Sunset Blvd. in Pacific Palisades between via de la Paz and Drummond St., Entertainment and fireworks at Palisades Charter High School.
Cost: Parade Free, reserved grandstand tickets for a fee, Concert $5
July 4th at Grand Park
Grand Park in the LA Civic Center is celebrating Independence Day with a four-block block party. They're adding a rooftop fireworks display with special effects with pyrotechnics. The Main stage and viewing area are located between Hill Street and Grand Avenue.
When: July 4, Music begins at 4 pm, light show at 9:00
Where: All four blocks of Grand Park in downtown Los Angeles 200 N. Grand Avenue, between Grand Avenue and Spring Street

3-Day July 4th Celebration at the Hollywood Bowl
For 2014 Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers will be headlining the three-day Independence Day celebration with fireworks each night at the landmark Hollywood Bowl.
When: July 2-4th, 7:30 pm

Westchester 4th of July Parade
LAX Coastal Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual parade with over 1,000 participants and 5,000 spectators. Floats, marching bands and community groups.
When: July 4th, 11 am
Where: Loyola Blvd from Westchester Park (7000 W. Manchester Blvd.) to Loyola Marymount University.
4th of July BBQ at the Aquarium of the Pacific
Enjoy the Aquarium at night and get a fish-eye view of the Queen Mary fireworks. Combo tickets include admission to the aquarium plus an Independence Day B-B-Q buffet with home-style grilled entrees and decadent deserts.
When: July 4, BBQ 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Aquarium open 9 am - 10 pm

Queen Mary BBQ, Brews and Red, White & Blues
The Queen Mary Independence Day celebration will be multi-era Tribute to Classic Americana through the Decade that time travels from room to room from the 1920s & 30's in the Grand Salon and Observation Bar through the 2010s in the Veranda Grill and Sun Deck. Long Beach Kids' July 4th Bike Parade
Children and adults are encouraged to decorate their bikes and themselves for this annual patriotic procession on wheels that takes place on the beach bike path in Long Beach. In addition to the bike parade, the event will include competitions for children 12 and younger, including a Patriotic Oratory Competition (advance submission required), watermelon seed spitting, and patriotic costume contest.

4th of July Celebration in San Pedro on July 3rd

Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum 4th of July Community Festival and Fireworks Show
Community concert and fireworks display at Memorial Coliseum and Exposition Park. Performances at 2 pm on Christmas Tree Lane and 6 pm in front of the California African American Museum.

The Culver City 4th of July celebration will include live music, food trucks, family-friendly midway games and a fireworks display at West LA College.
