Christmas caroling is a holiday tradition all over the country. While you won't find too many Angelenos caroling door to door, there are abundant opportunities to hear holiday music around LA. Here are some places you can hear professional carolers around town and a few places you can sing along.

Angel City Chorale Holiday Concert & Sing Along
125 member choir will lead favorite Christmas and Chanukah songs.
When: Saturday, December 1, 2007, 7:30 pm, Sunday, December 2, 7 pm
Where: Wilshire United Methodist Church, 4350 Wilshire Blvd., LA 90010, (between Wilton and Highland)
Cost: Advance $25 Adults, $22 Seniors 60+, $17 Children 5-12; At the door $30/$27/$20, advance tickets available through Nov 29

Jingle Bell Sing Hosted by the Music Center
A group of singers has been practicing, but you can also sing along with these carolers making appearances in Downtown Los Angeles.
When: Friday, December 21, 2007, 6:30 - 8:30 pm
Where: Around the Christmas tree at the Music Center main plaza
Cost: Free
Parking: $8 below the Music Center, $5 at the DWP or cathedral
Metro: Red Line to Civic Center Station

Holiday Sing-Along at the Disney Concert Hall
When: Saturday, Dec 22, 2007, 1:00 PM and 4 pm
Where: Walt Disney Concert Hall, 111 S. Grand Avenue, Los Angeles , 90012

Parking: $8 garage, enter off 2nd Street or Lower Grand Ave, $20 Valet, enter off Hope.

Christmas Eve Caroling at West L.A. Plaza
Christmas Caroling with live band. Located at the site of the present West L.A. Farmers Market
When: Sunday December 24th, 2006 from 10:00am until 2:00pm (No info yet for 2007)
Where: 11360 Santa Monica Blvd at Corinth Ave. at the Community Stage in the West L.A. Plaza.
Cost: Free.

Christmas Caroling at the Grove
Strolling carolers at the Grove outdoor mall next to the LA Farmer's Market
When: Dec 1-23, 2006 Fridays 6-9 pm, Sat-Sun 3-6 pm (No info for 2007)
Where: The Grove, 189 The Grove Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90036, at Third and Fairfax
Cost: Free
Parking: 1 free hour for all in parking structure, 2 free hours with validation, 2nd - 3rd hour $3, $1 per 20 minutes thereafter
Notes: Great decorations. Santa is available all day through Christmas Eve in front of Barnes and Noble. Free to whisper in his ear. $13 and up for a photo.

In addition to strolling carolers, visitors to the LA Farmer's Market can celebrate Hanukkah or hear some Caribbean holiday tunes.
