The Mexican Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead celebration takes place for two days on the Catholic holidays of All Saints Day on November 1st, and All Souls Day on November 2nd, but for nine days leading up to the 2nd, the traditional skeletons parade through the streets. In Los Angeles, this happens at Olvera Street, at El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Site.
