  • Transpac Yacht Race, biennial race from Rainbow Harbor in Long Beach to Hawaii (June 27 - July 5, 2009)
  • Long Beach Race Week (June 26-28, 2009) This is the largest US West Coast inshore keelboat regatta. Co-hosted by Long Beach Yacht Club and Alamitos Bay Yacht Club, there will be approximately 130 boats competing in seven races inside and outside the breakwater. www.lbrw.org
  • Jessica Uniak Memorial Beach-Bay Regatta, (ABYC & Alamitos Bay, July 30). Open to A/B/C1/C2C3 Senior fleets. 125 kid-skippered boats will race from East end of Shoreline Marina to Alamitos Bay. (562) 493-5173
