Queen Mary's Dark Harbor, known in previous years as Queen Mary Shipwreck or Shipwrecked, is the Long Beach attraction's annual Halloween makeover. The Queen Mary has some features that make it especially suitable for a good haunting. Primary among them are miles of creepy corridors deep in the bowels of the ship that are said to be populated by actual ghosts, even without the scare actors.
Dark Harbor at the Queen Mary also incorporates what used to be the Old English Village shops, with a maze that goes through multiple buildings. The dome that used to house the Spruce Goose, which is now shared with the Long Beach Cruise Terminal, is also part of the program.
The haunt changes every year. Peruse the following photos for a sneak peak of the 2011 Dark Harbor.
