The Bottom Line
The Hollywood Quality Inn is a nice little budget hotel in a great location with very good value for the money. You won't get concierge service, but the staff is friendly. If you're on a budget, the free continental breakfast and having a refrigerator and microwave to heat up your leftovers can help. The location, just 4 short blocks from Grauman's Chinese Theatre, the Kodak Theatre and Hollywood & Highland is great for exploring Hollywood.

Guide Review - Quality Inn Hollywood - Review of the Quality Inn Hollywood
I stayed at the Hollywood Quality Inn while attending the Feast of San Gennaro, near Hollywood & Highland. The two-story hotel was just two blocks from the event, so I could park there and walk to the event. There is a gated garage under the hotel, and a few parking spaces off the street. There is also a brick drive in front on La Brea to park for check in.
There is no elevator to the 2nd floor, but there are handicap accessible rooms on the 1st level. La Brea is a busy street, but most rooms are on the quieter side street or interior courtyard, and the double paned glass keeps most traffic noise at bay.
My king room had a shelf unit that held the TV, three large drawers, a refrigerator and microwave. There was an upholstered chair at either end of it, with a small table in the far corner by the closet, and another chair by the bed. The open closet was big enough to set up the luggage rack provided. The sink was on the outside of the bathroom.
The room was clean, other than a small stain on one upholstered chair. The bedspread was in good condition, if a bit old-fashioned. The Velux blanket under the spread was worn in places, but the sheets were nice and soft and the bed was pretty comfortable. The pillows were foam, which is not my preference, but at least they varied in firmness, so there were options.
The upholstered chair didn't fit very well to the table to use it for a desk, but I managed to make it work to set up my laptop and check my email and upload photos using their free internet service.
