Every year the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising hosts the Art of Motion Picture Costume Design Exhibition, a display of costumes considered and nominated for Academy Awards in the Best Costume Designed category. Later in the year, FIDM hosts an exhibit of Emmy-nominated costumes.
