Area Nightclub Los Angeles in West Hollywood

There was a good-looking crowd of twenty and thirty-somethings gathered on a Friday night. A group of four young men that I spoke to said they came about twice a month, investing in bottle service to get past the velvet rope. Despite being nice-looking guys, they said that bottle service was the only way they could get in. When I asked if it was worth the $340 minimum bottle price to keep coming back? One of them responded "Have you seen the women in here?!"

A bevy of those women who were half regulars and half newbies also found the male potential worth coming back for, but they only had to invest the $20 cover or less if the doorman decided to waive it.

One of the twenty-something regulars described the crowd as a lot of young professionals (of which he was one) and "well-off people in their 30s and 40s."

The club was just starting to fill up around midnight on that Friday.
