Area Nightclub Los Angeles in West Hollywood

Area is open every night except Tuesday, and has guest DJs most of the time, all of whom play predominantly old school, hiphop and 80s music. Monday nights seem to come and go depending on promoters, but as of this writing, Mondays are back on.

If you're coming from out of town, the promoters probably won't mean a lot to you, but for locals who follow particular promoters, here's the daily lineup at Area (check the website for updates).
Wednesday: Red Carpet Events
Thursday: Mark Tung
Friday: Chris Whalley, Scott Paletz and Steve Fowler
Saturday: Plan C brings in a predominantly Asian crowd.
Sunday: The first Sunday of the month is Industry Night (Club-, movie-, record-industry); every other Sunday Jeffrey Sanker and David Cooley host Gay Night.
