Bixby Knolls, Long Beach First Friday Art Walk
6:30-10 pm
First Fridays in Bixby Knolls is one of a family-friendly art walk, with more focus on music than art. High school garage bands join local indie bands, ethnic dancers, jazz combos and senior rockers up and down Atlantic Avenue. Most of the visual art action is at the Expo Center, including art activities for kids, gallery exhibits, and arts and crafts vendors. Other businesses from restaurants to yoga studios also display and sell art and additional vendors and artists at work set up on the sidewalks.

Laguna Beach is known for its arts community and summer-long arts festival. The Galleries on South PCH start about 5 blocks from those in north and central Laguna Beach, so free shuttles run from 6:15 - 8:45 pm, departing from Laguna Art Museum (corner PCH and Cliff Dr ) and Bluebird Center ( 1590 S. Coast Highway ).
